Iymcs Charter Partnership program meets enthusiastic support from the industry at ICE 2024 in Amsterdam
Iymcs participated in the International Charter Expo 2024 in Amsterdam (November 13-15) and presented its latest initiative - a partner program for charter companies. The program creates a network of Charter fleet operators within the Society in all popular recreational charter regions of the world. Multiple charter companies enthusiastically supported the initiative by joining during the conference. With great pleasure on behalf of all Society members the Iymcs board presents and welcomes RM Croisieres in Martinique, Palma Yachts in Portugal, Seafolk in Sicily, Vlamis Enterprises in Greece, Sailing Forever in Croatia and Ancyra Sailing in Turkey. Another half-dozen companies are expected to join in the coming weeks.
Roger Harrison, Iymcs managing director and co-founder, said:
'The launch of the Iymcs Charter Partnership program is the latest step in our Society's
exciting journey to bring professional standards of the maritime industry to the recreational yachting segment. Our member yachting schools are receiving a network of
select trusted partners, allowing them to offer enhanced curriculum in different and distant navigation areas and give their students practical exposure to a variety of
conditions at sea and onshore. Skippers carrying an Iymcs Certificate of Competency (CoC) can choose from a selection of reliable fleet operators working together with
the Society to ensure the best possible charter yachting experience.' Society member schools and skippers shall benefit from preferred vessel charter conditions from
Charter partners.
